Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ovca Namjera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Gil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ovca Namjera had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namjera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gil defends it nicely.
Namjera lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Namjera misses with a series of wild punches.

Namjera throws a nice looking combination but Gil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Namjera closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gil circles away.
Ovca Namjera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gil uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Namjera.
Namjera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown by Namjera or perhaps it was just good defense by Gil which made him look bad.
Namjera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gil tries to avoid it but Namjera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gil to the ground. Gil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ovca Namjera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
