Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes to the cage accompanied by Anthem. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bomb's choice of entrance music: Casino Royale Soundtrack - You Know My Name. Alistair Overeem is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bomb blocks a leg kick.
A big left from Bomb misses.
A lazy left from Overeem finds it's target.
Overeem throws a sloppy head kick
and Bomb makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Bomb steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Overeem. That one must have hurt.

Overeem clinches up against the cage.
Overeem lands a body shot in the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Overeem wants to break free but Bomb has control.
Overeem prevents a body shot from Bomb.
Overeem throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bombs head.

No joy there for Overeem, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Overeem connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Overeem moves into the clinch successfully.
Bomb misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Overeem.
Bomb is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bomb tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Overeem is able to avoid easily.

Bomb stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Overeem.

Overeem throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Overeem lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bomb has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bomb and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd cheers as Bomb lands an impressive looking overhand right. Overeem doesn't seem phased though.
Overeem throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bomb misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Overeem.
Some bone on bone action there as Bomb checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bomb swats away the attempt to clinch by Overeem.

Overeem throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bomb on the side of the head.

and Bomb counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Alistair Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overeem connects with a leg kick. Bomb looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Overeem throws a series of punches but Bomb moves out of range.
Bomb blocks a jab.
Overeem throws a nice looking combination but Bomb bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bomb darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bomb throws a wild body kick that Overeem sees coming a mile off.
Bomb lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Overeem's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bomb under the eye.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Overeem, as that shot connected.
Bomb keeps the fight on the outside.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Overeem counters with a leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alistair Overeem dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bomb looks for the body kick but Overeem saw that one coming.
A head kick from Overeem lands but Bomb takes it in his stride.

Bomb is still on wobbly legs! Can Overeem finish him?
Overeem is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bomb flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bomb is out cold! Overeem holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
