The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Forbes.
Forbes falls off balance throwing a combination

and Aragus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Forbes regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Aragus.
Aragus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Forbes is keeping the position for now.
Aragus missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Forbes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aragus is controlling him.

Aragus throws a strike but Forbes rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Aragus throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Forbes because Aragus loaded up on that one.
Aragus postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Forbes looks a forlorn figure.
Aragus landing strikes from the mount and Forbes is in trouble!
Aragus breaks from Forbes's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Aragus lands with some strikes.

Forbes is rocked!

A big strike lands for Aragus! That's really hurt Forbes and he's turned his back - Aragus keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Aragus jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
