The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Akira Akiyama has been cut.

Johnson tries to throw a body punch but Akiyama avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the cage.

Johnson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Akiyama avoids it.
Johnson lands a hook that snaps the head of Akiyama backwards.

Akiyama tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnson smiles and moves away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Akiyama is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.

A bone on bone clash there as Akiyama blocks the leg kick.
Akiyama connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Akiyama attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Akiyama shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The cut above Akira Akiyama's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Akira Akiyama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson tests Akiyama's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Akiyama scores with a one two! Johnson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Scary Johnson has been cut.

Johnson lands a big uppercut and Akiyama crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Akiyama looks OK. Johnson waves Akiyama back to his feet!

Akiyama is rocked!
Johnson cracks Akiyama with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Akiyama falls to his knees and Johnson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
