The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Langer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Samilia's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Samilia looking for a sweep. Not yet Samilia, not yet.
Langer throws a big right hand that misses.
Samilia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Langer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Langer trying to control the position from guard on top but Samilia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Langer is taking a breather. Samilia says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Langer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
