And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tete TC!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

TC shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sanchez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
TC sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sanchez's guard.
TC prevents Sanchez from improving his position.

TC is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sanchez has managed to free his arm - good work.

Sanchez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but TC pulls his head out easily.
Sanchez tries to roll over but TC keeps him under control.

TC wants to work for an arm triangle but Sanchez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Sanchez looking for submissions off his back.

Sanchez actively working from the bottom here.
The fighters are battling for position here. Sanchez manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

TC drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sanchez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sanchez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sanchez!
TC gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. TC manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

TC looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

TC has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sanchez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
TC looks winded!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
TC looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sanchez looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Sanchez has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

TC is looking for a triangle but Sanchez pushes his legs off easily.

Sanchez with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Sanchez has hold of TC's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and TC manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sanchez is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. TC can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sanchez has isolated one of TC's arms. TC looking to fight him off but Sanchez twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
