The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Andromov.
Alchuk Andromov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
StPierre walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
StPierre misses with a body shot.
Andromov throws a nice looking combination but StPierre bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Andromov scores with a jab to the jaw.
StPierre misses with a wild body shot.
StPierre has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Andromov finds it's way round the side to connect with StPierre's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Andromov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
StPierre swings for the body but Andromov moves out of range.

Andromov's jab looks to have found its range, popping StPierre under the eye.
Andromov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Andromov connects with a crisp jab.
StPierre with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Andromov to score with a decent uppercut.
StPierre dodges the punch combination from Andromov.
Andromov connects with an inside leg kick.
Andromov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Andromov looks to land a combination but StPierre avoids it well.
StPierre walks into a straight right hand from Andromov.
Andromov is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Andromov walks forward and throws a big overhand right! StPierre drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Andromov swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from StPierre's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
