Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sarkis Terteryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes to the cage accompanied by Craig David - Rise and Fall. Terteryan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Röyksopp - The Fear . Craig David had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Craig David had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Craig David!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sarkis Terteryan!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Terteryan has managed to clinch.
Terteryan prevents the takedown attempt.
David drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
David tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
David is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Terteryan is defending well.

David changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Terteryan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Terteryan looks to land a left hand but David moved out of range nicely.
Terteryan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Terteryan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Nice sprawl there from David as Terteryan shoots in.
Terteryan wants to land a leg kick but David is out of range.
Terteryan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Terteryan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps David's head backwards.
Terteryan misses with a two punch combination.
David closes the distance and clinches up with Terteryan, looking for a takedown. David pushes Terteryan against the cage but Terteryan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

David gets tackled into the cage by Terteryan. Terteryan maintains the clinch.

Terteryan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Terteryan looks to land a right hand but David moved out of range.
David shoots in for a takedown but Terteryan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Terteryan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
David is breathing heavily.
Terteryan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Terteryan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Terteryan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Terteryan cracks David with a big right hand but David just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
You can see the frustration on David's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

David takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Terteryan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but David sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Terteryan wants to control for a moment but David uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Terteryan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but David does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Terteryan passes the guard and advances to mount!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Terteryan wants to stand up but David is controlling him.
David postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
David is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Terteryan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Terteryan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes David off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

David dives in and grabs Terteryan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Terteryan pushes down on David's head and hops out.

Terteryan got a little sloppy there for a moment and David has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Terteryan has managed to get both his arms back between David's legs - danger averted.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Craig David has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sarkis Terteryan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
