Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takashi Isso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Isso's choice of entrance music: Shiawase Nara Te o Tatakō by NobodyKnows+. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stevenson clinches up against the cage.
Isso blocks an elbow strike from Stevenson.
Isso is looking to break free of the clinch but Stevenson has double underhooks.
Isso tries to break the clinch but Stevenson is controlling the position.
Stevenson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Isso avoiding damage as Stevenson throws knees to the body.
Stevenson lands a knee to the head.
Isso wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stevenson has him pressed against the cage.
Isso takes a knee right on the jaw!
Isso blocks the elbow strike.
Stevenson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Isso has hold of one of Stevenson's legs. Stevenson is fighting the takedown attempt but Isso gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Isso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevenson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Isso trying to control but Stevenson is working from the bottom.
Isso prevents Stevenson from getting back to his feet.
Isso passes Stevenson's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Isso seems to be working for a kimura but Stevenson defends the submission attempt.
Stevenson is trying to stand back up but Isso is controlling him
Isso is taking a breather. Stevenson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Isso wants to pass to mount but Stevenson is defending the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Isso is working for a kimura but Stevenson is defending it quite comfortably.
Isso not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Takashi Isso dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Isso looks to land a right hand but Stevenson moved out of range.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Isso just misses with a punch to the body.

BOOM! Isso lands a beautiful left hook that drops Stevenson. Stevenson tries to recover but Isso is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Stevenson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
