and Chavez counters with a head kick that drops Clavet to the mat! Clavet scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Clavet tries to work over Chavez's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Chavez breaks from the clinch.
Chavez jabs at Clavet's body.
Deano Clavet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chavez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Clavet has time to react.
Clavet tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chavez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clavet somewhat.

and Chavez counters with a crisp right hand that drops Clavet! Chavez lets Clavet back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Clavet takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hugo Chavez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chavez weaves into range and cracks Clavet right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Clavet goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Chavez is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Hugo Chavez tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
