Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Mott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dell Optiplex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dell Optiplex will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Optiplex connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
John Mott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Optiplex takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Mott bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Optiplex is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mott stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Mott feints and as Optiplex raises his hands in defense, Mott changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mott is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Optiplex wants to stand and escape but Mott is having none of it.
Mott is looking to work some ground and pound but Optiplex has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mott stands and steps away. Optiplex gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Optiplex tries a head kick but it misses.
Mott misses with a wild combination.
Mott throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Optiplex on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mott. Mott obviously looking to wear him down.

Mott fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Optiplex has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mott misses with a leg kick.
Mott avoids the head kick by Optiplex.
Optiplex pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mott throws a right hand that Optiplex ducks under and follows up with a left that Optiplex also avoids with ease.
Mott misses with a double jab
and Optiplex counters with a head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Optiplex counters with a head kick. That will keep Mott thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Optiplex takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Mott lands with a shot to the body.
Mott walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Optiplex checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Mott connects with a solid leg kick.
Mott lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Mott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mott is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Optiplex is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A very excited looking John Mott rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
