Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Geoly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bull comes to the cage accompanied by Black Label Society - Fire It Up. Roy Bull had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 23 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Bull!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Geoly!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geoly looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
An inside leg kick from Geoly misses.
Bull avoids the head kick by Geoly.
Geoly feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bull's calf.
Bull swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bull throws a sloppy head kick and Geoly moves out of range easily.
Bull comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bull drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bull is looking to work some ground and pound but Geoly has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bull accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bull stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Geoly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bull throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Geoly on the side of the head.

Geoly does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bull throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Geoly.

Bull fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Geoly sprawls well initially but Bull persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bull thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Geoly's head.
Geoly holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Bull is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bull has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Geoly moves into full guard.
Bull postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bull thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Geoly pulls Bull in close to his closed guard and prevents Bull from doing any damage or advancing position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bull here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Bull's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Geoly connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bull scrambles back to his feet.

Geoly takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Geoly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bull scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Roy Bull is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Bull takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Oh Bull is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bull throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Geoly sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A clash of legs there as Bull blocks the low kick.
A jab from Geoly finds it's way through Bull's defenses.
Geoly is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Geoly cracks Bull with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bull tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Geoly pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bull is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

After the fight, Alexander Geoly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
