Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jayden Slash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jayden Slash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Turner!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Slash tries to clinch up but Turner circles away and keeps his distance.
Slash with a lazy takedown attempt
and Turner counters with a solid body kick.
Slash looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Slash shoots in and gets a takedown into Turner's guard.
Slash looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Slash cracks Turner with a solid left hand.

Slash throws a big elbow that misses.
Slash is looking to work some ground and pound but Turner has wrist control.
Turner is pulling down on Slash's head. It's preventing any offense from Slash, at least for the moment.
Slash would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Slash controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Turner can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jayden Slash just wasn't active enough.
Turner throws a wild body kick that Slash sees coming a mile off.
Turner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Turner cracks Slash with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Slash fails with a takedown attempt.

Slash drives through and clinches with Turner against the cage.
Turner lands a nice uppercut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Turner takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Slash keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Turner's efforts to push away.
Slash creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Turner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Slash.
Slash lands a damaging elbow.
Slash is trying to stall.
Turner blocks an elbow strike.

It looks like Randy Turner has been cut.
Turner tries to break free but Slash pushes him back against the cage.
Turner holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Turner breaks the clinch.
Slash closes the distance but Turner moves to the side
enabling Turner to counter with a crisp jab.


It looks like Jayden Slash has been cut.
Jayden Slash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turner throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Turner is looking to chop away at Slash's legs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Slash shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Slash was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Slash wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turner keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Randy Turner will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Slash tries for a takedown but Turner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Turner connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Slash shoots in and bounces Turner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Turner is trying to control the position but Slash postures up.
Turner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Slash wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
Slash is really struggling to control Turner but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jayden Slash has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Slash closes the distance and clinches up with Turner, looking for a takedown. Slash pushes Turner against the cage but Turner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Turner scores with a hook to the body. Slash takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Turner throws a head kick that misses.
Slash takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Slash chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Turner can pounce on him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turner leaves Slash with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jayden Slash. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Turner looks to land a body kick but Slash moved away.
Turner throws a wild body kick that Slash sees coming a mile off.
Randy Turner seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Slash rushes Turner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Slash swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Turner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Turner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slash on the side of the head.
Turner is looking to slow Slash down with leg kicks.
Turner throws a push kick but Slash slaps the foot to one side.
Slash fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slash wants to clinch
and Turner counters with a nice leg kick.
Randy Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slash looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Turner is fending him off so far but Slash persists. Nope, Turner circles away and we're back to standing.
Slash tries to clinch up.

Slash gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Turner stops a takedown attempt from Slash.
Turner wants to break the clinch but can't.

Turner breaks the clinch.
Slash takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Turner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Turner. Slash shrugs it off though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Turner has knocked Slash down with a huge combo! Turner steps away and waves a wobbly Slash back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Slash takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Turner misses with a body kick.

Slash is rocked!
Turner moves in close and cracks Slash with a massive right hand! Slash, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Turner!
