The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cassius drives through with a takedown into guard.
Cassius won't allow Richards to get back to his feet.
Cassius passes into half guard.
Cassius has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Cassius working for a guillotine from mount but Richards is in no mood to give up.
Richards is controlling an arm, preventing Cassius from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Cassius is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Richards can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Richards can't escape the position.
