Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Metx LV (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sione Makatua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makatua misses with an uppercut.
Makatua throws a looping overhand right but LV ducks down to avoid it.
Makatua throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed right hand from Makatua misses the target.

Makatua scores with a sloppy right hand. LV should have avoided that one.
Sione Makatua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LV clinches up against the ropes.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Makatua must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
LV wants to get back to his feet but Makatua is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Makatua drops his shoulder and cracks LV with a huge uppercut! LV goes down! Can Makatua finish him?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Makatua is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Oh LV is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Makatua stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. LV swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
LV manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Makatua manages to get himself to full guard.
LV seems to have got his legs back now.

LV throws a big right hand that misses.
Makatua looking to hit a scissor sweep but LV is one step ahead there.

Makatua can't keep his opponent in guard - LV advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Makatua has hold of LV's hands but LV slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
LV perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LV lands a big shot there that rocks Makatua but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

LV takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Metx LV will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Makatua misses with a hook. LV ducked under it nicely.
Makatua looks to score with a jab to the body but LV is just out of range.
LV moves out of range of the strikes.
Makatua tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but LV was well out of range. Poor timing from Makatua.
LV shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Makatua as he avoids it easily.
LV on the wrong end of a nice hook.
LV moves away from the strike by Makatua.
LV shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Makatua throws a series of punches but LV moves out of range.
LV scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
LV thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
LV looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Makatua with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
LV scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Makatua tries to roll over but LV keeps him under control.
LV takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
LV is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Makatua avoiding damage under a succession of punches from LV.
LV is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Makatua is just riding it out for now. LV eventually gives up the hold.

LV seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Makatua is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
