Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johann MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anstey comes to the cage accompanied by rocky road to dublin. MacLeod is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mainland-Real Mckenzie's. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLeod throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Anstey moves into the clinch.
Anstey has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
MacLeod is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Anstey gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
MacLeod has Anstey pressed against the cage, preventing Anstey from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Anstey wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Anstey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
MacLeod lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
MacLeod tries to break free but Anstey pushes him back against the cage.
Anstey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Still in the clinch, Anstey scores with a nice short uppercut.

Anstey tries to circle away but MacLeod has him pinned against the cage.

With the fighters up against the cage, Anstey throws an elbow but misses.
MacLeod tries to break free but Anstey pushes him back against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Anstey's face as he tries to break the clinch.
MacLeod prevents Anstey from breaking the clinch.
MacLeod pulls Anstey into guard.
Anstey stands and steps away. MacLeod gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
MacLeod throws a leg kick but Anstey sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
MacLeod fails in his attempt to clinch.
Anstey throws out a leg kick but MacLeod moves out of range and Anstey only half commits.
Anstey throws a one two combo.
MacLeod tries to land a front kick but Anstey steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
MacLeod throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
MacLeod looks winded!
MacLeod has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Anstey.
Anstey feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending MacLeod crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Corwin Anstey!
