Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cristiano Ronaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miroslaw Krawy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cristiano Ronaldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miroslaw Krawy!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo throws a lazy head kick
and Krawy counters with a straight right hand.
Ronaldo with a poor takedown

and Krawy counters by moving into the clinch.
Krawy cracks Ronaldo with a nice body shot.

Krawy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ronaldo fails to land the takedown.
Krawy thows a body shot but no joy.
Ronaldo shoots in looking for a takedown but Krawy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ronaldo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cristiano Ronaldo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ronaldo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Krawy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ronaldo is trying to keep an underhook but Krawy manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krawy is controlling the pace.

Krawy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ronaldo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krawy.

Krawy tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ronaldo controls his leg.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ronaldo is trying to get back to full guard.
Ronaldo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Krawy not doing much here.
Krawy is thwarting Ronaldo's attempts to control the position.
Krawy prevents Ronaldo from standing back up.
Ronaldo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ronaldo is breathing heavily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Miroslaw Krawy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ronaldo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Krawy is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ronaldo can't fight it off and eventually Krawy manages to take the fight to the floor. Ronaldo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Krawy is looking to advance position but Ronaldo won't allow it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Krawy connects with a nice short shot to Ronaldo's temple.
Krawy uses his free foot to push down on Ronaldo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ronaldo.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Krawy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ronaldo is in a horrible position here. Krawy smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Krawy connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Krawy lands a heavy elbow.
Ronaldo is bucking up trying to escape but Krawy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krawy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Ronaldo gets caught napping as Krawy dives in and scores a takedown. Ronaldo manages to retain guard.
Krawy wanted to stand there but Ronaldo had control of the position.

Krawy distracts Ronaldo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Ronaldo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Krawy defends it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Krawy works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Krawy landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Krawy is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Krawy in particular looking to stall.

Ronaldo is in trouble now - Krawy has advanced to mount!

Krawy is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Krawy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ronaldo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ronaldo is being controlled here.
Ronaldo is trying to get back to half guard.

Krawy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ronaldo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Krawy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Krawy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Krawy has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ronaldo!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Krawy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miroslaw Krawy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Krawy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Krawy lands in his opponent's guard.
Krawy's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Krawy stands and steps away. Ronaldo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Krawy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ronaldo looking to sit in guard and control but Krawy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Krawy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Krawy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ronaldo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Krawy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Miroslaw Krawy wasn't active enough on the ground.
Krawy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Krawy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ronaldo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Krawy lands a decent elbow from side control.

Miroslaw Krawy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Krawy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
