Washington comes to the cage accompanied by Swag Surfin. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwwin misses with a takedown attempt
and Washington counters with a series of strikes. Carwwin will be more careful next time no doubt.
Washington ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Carwwin tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Carwwin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Washington walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Carwwin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Carwwin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Washington manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Washington slips a jab and a cross from Carwwin.

and Washington counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Carwwin thinking.
Jose Carwwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Washington misses with a two punch combination.
Carwwin tries to close the distance and clinch but Washington swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Washington lands with a straight right. Carwwin didn't see that one coming.

so Washington counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
