Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cyborg Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anaconda Choke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choke tries to clinch up

and Santos holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Santos decides to pull guard.
Santos wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Choke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Santos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Choke shoots for a double leg takedown but Santos sprawls well. He's pushed Choke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Choke drops down looking for an ankle pick but Santos pulls his leg out and moves away.

Choke shoots in for a double leg but Santos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Choke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Santos is fending him off so far but Choke persists. Nope, Santos circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Choke.
Choke leaves Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Santos or perhaps it was just good defense by Choke which made him look bad.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Choke closes the distance and clinches up with Santos, looking for a takedown. Choke pushes Santos against the cage but Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Santos circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Choke drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Santos follows Choke to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
