Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donovan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Donovan Smith was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith scores with a jab to the body.
Rogers throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Smith tests Rogers's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Rogers is just out of range.
Smith slips a straight right by Rogers.

Rogers instigates a clinch.
Rogers is trying to break the clinch but Smith is controlling him.
Smith lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rogers blocks a body shot from Smith.
Smith working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Smith putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Rogers in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Rogers tries to break free but Smith pushes him back against the ropes.
Smith scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Smith scores with a nice hook to the head.

Smith drops Rogers onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Rogers is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith has Rogers tight in a Thai clinch... and there's a huge knee which drops Rogers to the floor. He's out cold!! I hope he's still got all his teeth!
