Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Bonjesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonjesky is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Liam Machin is a bitch . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture misses with a takedown attempt
and Bonjesky counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bonjesky throws a series of punches but Couture moves out of range.
Couture slips a jab and a cross from Bonjesky.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Couture.
Bonjesky will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Couture tries to clinch up but Bonjesky circles away and keeps his distance.

Couture is looking to stall here but Bonjesky recovers full guard.
Couture stands and throws Bonjesky's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bonjesky parries the strikes from Couture easily there. Couture is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bonjesky to escape.

Couture stands up.
Couture changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bonjesky tries to avoid it but Couture manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonjesky to the ground. Bonjesky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bonjesky goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Couture avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

It looks like Andy Couture has been cut.
Couture doesn't manage to clinch there - Bonjesky circles away.

Couture has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bonjesky finds it's way round the side to connect with Couture's head.

and Bonjesky counters with a huge left! Couture is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bonjesky isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Couture from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bonjesky!

Chuck Bonjesky decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
