Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kimbo Slice Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lanny Poffo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poffo avoids the body shot from Slice Jr.
Slice Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Poffo defending well as Slice Jr loads up on a big left hand.
Poffo misses with a wild body shot.
Slice Jr lands with a nice body punch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Poffo is defended easily by Slice Jr.
Slice Jr looks to throw the jab but Poffo is out of range.
Slice Jr throws a right hand that Poffo ducks under and follows up with a left that Poffo also avoids with ease.
Slice Jr connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Lanny Poffo has been cut.
Poffo shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Poffo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Slice Jr lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Poffo is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice Jr looking to control but Poffo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Slice Jr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Poffo looks a forlorn figure.

That has opened up Lanny Poffo's cut even more.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slice Jr has control of Poffo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Poffo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Slice Jr throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Poffo because Slice Jr loaded up on that one.

The cut above Lanny Poffo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A big strike lands for Slice Jr! That's really hurt Poffo and he's turned his back - Slice Jr keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Slice Jr jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Kimbo Slice Jr was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
