Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gerard Bazinet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogey James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gerard Bazinet has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bazinet connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Bazinet misses with a body shot.
Bazinet looks to land a combination but James avoids it well.
James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
James fails with a takedown attempt.
James shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bazinet but Bazinet pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gerard Bazinet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bogey James.

James takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bazinet will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

James tries to free his leg and advance position but Bazinet is retaining full guard.
James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bazinet manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. James manages to get himself to full guard.

Bazinet really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

James looks up at the clock and then as Bazinet takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, James smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Oh Bazinet is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bazinet tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but James wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

James cracks Bazinet with an elbow. That is naaassty.
James cracks Bazinet with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! James immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Bazinet is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by James!
