Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Zembala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerald Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rocky Road to Dublin - Dropkick Murphys kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jerald Wilson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson looks for a takedown but Zembala sprawls well.
Zembala feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wilson's calf.

Zembala fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wilson sprawls well initially but Zembala persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Zembala wants to stand but Wilson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Zembala is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Zembala has picked Wilson up - he's going for a ride! Zembala dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Zembala gets control of Wilson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zembala will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zembala bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wilson's guard.

Zembala wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving.
Zembala postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wilson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Zembala off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wilson misses with a takedown

and Zembala counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Zembala.

Zembala is wriggling around but Wilson manages to pass to half guard.
Zembala holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Zembala tries to kick Wilson off but Wilson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Zembala moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Wilson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Zembala misses with a series of wild punches.
Wilson sizes up Zembala with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Zembala tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zembala.
Zembala moves in looking to clinch but Wilson pushes him off.
Wilson fails with the takedown

and Zembala counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilson won't be happy with that.
Marcin Zembala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerald Wilson.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Zembala stands up and beckons Wilson to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Wilson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Zembala get's back to his feet.

Zembala shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Wilson just trying to survive but Zembala is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Zembala has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Wilson! Can he survive? No! He's out! Zembala gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
