Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zombo Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circle momentarily. Jackson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jackson wants to get up but he can't break Axe's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jackson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Axe's guard.

Jackson uses his free foot to push down on Axe's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Axe.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jackson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Axe scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Jackson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Jackson stands and salutes the crowd.
