The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magnusson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Overeem manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Magnusson has Overeem in his guard.
Overeem is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Magnusson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Overeem has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
