Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Geogers Loreel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miroslaw Krawy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Geogers Loreel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miroslaw Krawy!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krawy fails with the takedown.
Loreel misses with a hook.

Krawy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Krawy tries to stand but Loreel is controlling from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loreel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Krawy controls the pace.
Loreel controls Krawy momentarily but Krawy frees himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Geogers Loreel wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Loreel closes the distance and clinches.

Krawy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Loreel looks to score with a jab to the body but Krawy is just out of range.
Krawy fails with a takedown attempt.
Krawy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Krawy lands a glancing blow to the side of Loreel's head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Loreel.

Loreel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Loreel lands in his opponent's guard.
Loreel wants to pass the guard but Krawy is keeping the position.
Loreel's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Krawy keeping moving, preventing Loreel from controlling successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Krawy is looking to stand up but Loreel isn't so interested in that idea.
Loreel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Geogers Loreel wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Krawy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Loreel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Loreel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Miroslaw Krawy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Loreel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Loreel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Krawy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Krawy is trying to get back to half guard.
Loreel trying to control the action but Krawy is working from the bottom.
Loreel throwing shots but missing, from side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Krawy is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Loreel asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Loreel wants to control but Krawy is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krawy pushes Loreel away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Loreel gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Loreel trying to control the action but Krawy is working from the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Krawy is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Geogers Loreel will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Krawy pushes Loreel up against the cage in a clinch.
Loreel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Krawy smiles and moves away.
Loreel takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Krawy gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Krawy has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Loreel regains guard immediately.
Loreel wants to sweep here but Krawy controlling him for the moment.

Loreel has his feet on Krawy's thighs here. He's pushed Krawy off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Krawy screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Geogers Loreel!
