Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between First Soul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peterlee Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, First Soul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Peterlee Walker!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Soul both land. Nice combination.

Walker clinches.
Walker avoiding damage as Soul throws knees to the body.

Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Walker wants to break free but Soul has control.
Walker working hard to break the clinch.
Walker jumps guard but Soul turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Soul wants a takedown but no success here.
Walker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Soul is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Walker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Soul avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Soul ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Soul no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Peterlee Walker hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Soul is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Soul's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Soul is landing with some decent strikes but Walker is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Soul stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Walker.
Walker misses with a head kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Walker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walker wants it to stay on the feet.
Walker keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

First Soul dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Walker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Soul shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walker sprawls well. Walker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Soul gets slowly back to his feet.
Soul tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Soul is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Walker to keep the fight standing.
Soul is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Walker is defending well for now.

Walker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Soul is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Walker is breathing heavily.

Soul manages to break the clinch.

Walker gets caught flat footed, as Soul shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Soul decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Soul tries to clinch up but Walker circles away and keeps his distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Soul throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walker's waist but Walker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soul off to one side.
Soul fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walker avoids it really well and circles away.

Soul wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance.
First Soul is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Walker avoids a wild elbow strike from Soul.
Soul tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Soul misses with a knee strike.
Walker tries to pull guard but Soul forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Walker manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Soul seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Peterlee Walker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
First Soul is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Walker tries to score a body lock takedown but Soul shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
First Soul showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Soul, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
