The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierce is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Greenleaf.
Pierce looks to throw the jab but Greenleaf is out of range.
Pierce misses with a double jab.
Greenleaf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pierce manages to avoid it.
Pierce lands with a right hand.
Pierce thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice straight punches there by Greenleaf. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Greenleaf.
Pierce works over Greenleaf's head and body with a nice combination.
Greenleaf drops his hands momentarily and Pierce takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Greenleaf. Pierce does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Greenleaf drops Pierce onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Pierce is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Greenleaf creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Pierce's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Pierce drops to his knees and Greenleaf pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
