Odenkirk tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Costa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Costa feints and as Odenkirk raises his hands in defense, Costa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Odenkirk seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
