Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Boulks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Will Boulks enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Boulks!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake closes the distance looking to clinch

and Boulks counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Drake!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Boulks advances nicely into full mount.

Boulks swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Drake is now in Boulks's guard. A big mistake from Boulks there, giving up the dominant position!

Drake wants to control from the top but Boulks keeps moving.

Boulks escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Drake gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Drake accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Drake controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Boulks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Drake looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Boulks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Drake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boulks is adopting a defensive guard.
Boulks keeping moving, preventing Drake from controlling successfully.

Boulks had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drake defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boulks is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Drake is aware though and is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Drake wants to control from the top but Boulks keeps moving.

Boulks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Boulks had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drake defends it easily.
Drake has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Drake wants to control from the top but Boulks keeps moving.
Drake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boulks on the ground.
Drake postures up in Boulks's guard and throws a big left but Boulks blocks it.
Drake throws an elbow that misses. Boulks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Drake's guard. Nice move by Boulks!
Boulks trying to control but Drake is working from the bottom.
Drake bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boulks's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Boulks is looking for a triangle but Drake pushes his legs off easily.
Drake in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Boulks keeping moving, preventing Drake from controlling successfully.
Drake is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Drake trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Drake wants to control from the top but Boulks keeps moving.

Drake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boulks is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Will Boulks dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Drake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Drake moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Drake has managed to clinch.
Come on Drake - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Drake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Drake connects with a leg kick. Boulks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Oooooh!!! Drake has knocked Boulks down with a huge combo! Drake steps away and waves a wobbly Boulks back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Boulks is rocked!


It looks like Will Boulks has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drake tries to clinch there but Boulks circles away.
Boulks is still on wobbly legs! Can Drake finish him?
Albert Drake is winning the standup battle so far.
Drake tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Drake works Boulks's body with a nice hook.
Albert Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boulks is breathing heavily.
Boulks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Drake digs a good body shot into Boulks's ribs.
Boulks seems to have recovered his senses.
Drake lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Boulks falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Albert Drake!
A relieved looking Albert Drake thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
