Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jo So (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Bighands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
So moves in looking to clinch but Bighands pushes him off.

So forces Bighands back against the cage and clinches.
Come on Bighands - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
So goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bighands prevents it.
Bighands effectively controlling the action here.
Bighands is trying to drag So to the mat but So just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bighands has clasped his hands together around So's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Bighands decides to take the fight back to the feet.

So lands a left and a right that send Bighands crashing to the mat, dazed. So thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Benny Bighands has been cut.

Bighands tries to sprawl but So drives through with a takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bighands tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but So paws at him with a jab and circles away.
So fails with the takedown.
Jo So seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
So is breathing heavily.
So shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bighands counters with a head kick. That will keep So thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

So shoots for a takedown but Bighands saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

So tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bighands swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bighands showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from So.
Bighands tries to bum rush So with a series of wild strikes but So uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
So scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bighands doesn't seem bothered though.
No luck with that takedown attempt from So.
Bighands should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

So fails to land the takedown.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bighands darts in and clinches So up against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bighands has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by So after a bit of a struggle.
Bighands will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning So up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jo So will probably get the nod.

Bighands fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but So avoids it really well and circles away.
Bighands has a takedown stuffed.
So throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
So throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bighands on the side of the head.
So with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bighands counters with a nice low kick that buckles So's knee momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
So moves in looking to clinch but Bighands pushes him off.
Bighands throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by So.
Jo So is winning the standup battle so far.
Bighands tries to clinch but So moves out of range.
Jo So is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
So fails with an attempt to clinch.

So fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
So tries for a takedown but Bighands sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bighands shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as So sprawls well. So wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bighands gets slowly back to his feet.
Jo So has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Bighands.
So shoots for a double leg takedown but Bighands sprawls well. He's pushed So's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

So tries to keep at a distance but Bighands has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bighands shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bighands showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bighands stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows So to get to his feet.

So stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and So wants it to stay on the feet.
Bighands avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bighands shoots in but no luck this time.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bighands shoots in and drives through. So sprawls well.
So moves out of range of the body kick.
So scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

So shoots in but Bighands avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bighands defends well against a solid takedown attempt from So.
Bighands displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from So.

So uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bighands.

Bighands feints a jab promting So to slip. Bighands then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. So slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
So tries to close the distance and clinch but Bighands swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
So slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
So shoots in for a double leg but Bighands sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
So shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bighands as he avoids it easily.
Bighands shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
So throws out a powerful jab.
So scores with a nice strike.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bighands.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
So fails with a takedown attempt.
Bighands is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Benny Bighands will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Bighands lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but So circles away quickly and effectively.

So clinches up with Bighands and pushes him back against the cage.
Bighands is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
So jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bighands walks away with a smile on his face. So gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
So fails to land the takedown.
So cracks the inside of Bighands's front leg.
So tries to clinch up but Bighands circles away and keeps his distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! So crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bighands - the referee stops the clock and So gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bighands. So manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Bighands counters by moving into the clinch.

Bighands tries to pull guard but So holds him up against the cage and eventually Bighands drops back down to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
So is trying to pull guard but Bighands has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jo So. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bighands breaks the clinch.
So shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bighands pinned against the cage. Bighands gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bighands closes the distance and clinches up with So, looking for a takedown. Bighands pushes So against the cage but So circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bighands shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bighands was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bighands tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bighands has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

So trying to control but Bighands flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
So tries to roll but Bighands sticks to his back.
Bighands controlling the position well here. So rolled but Bighands kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bighands lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
So trying to control the position but Bighands manages to sink in the hooks.
Bighands lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Bighands.
So tries to escape the position.
