The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sanguinario's jab looks to have found its range, popping Martins under the eye.
Martins on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sanguinario keeps the fight on the outside.
Sanguinario dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martins tries for a takedown but Sanguinario sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No luck for Martins with that takedown attempt.
Martins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sanguinario defends it nicely.
Carlo Tonho Sanguinario has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabiano Martins.

Martins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Martins stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sanguinario.

Martins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanguinario swivels and escapes.
Sanguinario connects with a body shot.
Sanguinario dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Martins. That did some damage!

Sanguinario works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Martins walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Sanguinario drops Martins with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sanguinario follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
