Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Mathew!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Magnus Schilk!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Schilk. That's going to slow Mathew down.

Schilk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mathew manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Schilk looks to score with a jab to the body but Mathew is just out of range.
Schilk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Schilk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mathew manages to avoid it.
Schilk throws a series of punches but Mathew avoids them all with ease.
Mathew closes the distance and clinches up with Schilk, looking for a takedown. Mathew pushes Schilk against the cage but Schilk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Schilk keeps the fight on the outside.
Schilk cracks Mathew with a right hand to the side of the head.
Schilk moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schilk goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Mathew gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Mathew tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Schilk is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Mathew buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Mathew!! Mathew is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Schilk throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Magnus Schilk!
