The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evil fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bearing to the ground. Evil is now in Bearing's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bearing is on top in guard.
Evil has momentary wrist control but Bearing slips an elbow through the middle.
Evil looking for a sweep. Not yet Evil, not yet.
Bearing trying to control the position from guard on top but Evil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bearing works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Bearing is working for a submission of some sort.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bearing connects with a nice short shot to Evil's temple.
Evil is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Evil is trying to maintain the position but Bearing is very close to passing his half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bearing is working for a kimura but Evil is defending it quite comfortably.
Bearing landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Evil is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bearing is looking for a kimura but Evil is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bearing to get the leverage.
Evil is trying to control but can't.
Evil is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bearing is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bearing tries to pass to full mount but Evil defends it.

Evil makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Evil.

Evil has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bearing should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Evil has tightened it up now! Bearing should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
