PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marrio Marselli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marrio Marselli told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marselli shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Marselli was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Marselli tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Jamison looks to move to half guard but instead Marselli has passed into mount! Damn!

Marselli has control of Jamison's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jamison regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Marselli is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Marselli wants to control the pace but Jamison is squirming around nicely.
