Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Kam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yann Phok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yann Phok!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phok fails with the takedown
and Kam counters by moving into the clinch.
Phok tries to pull guard but Kam won't allow it.
Kam is working Phok over against the cage.
Kam ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kam no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Phok drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kam manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Phok has Kam in his guard.
Kam stays in close to Phok's body and controls the position.
Phok is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kam is aware though and is defending well.
Phok looking for a guillotine here but Kam defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kam's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kam tries to stand but Phok is controlling from the bottom.
Phok is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kam controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Phok has eaten all the pies!
Kam wants to stand but Phok has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Phok looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Phok is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kam frees his head nicely. Oh but Phok has switched to an armbar! Kam is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
