Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kanye West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West comes into the arena with Jesus Walks blaring out of the sound system. Ivan Ovechkin acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Ovechkin!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Ovechkin misses its intended target.
West fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ovechkin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ovechkin throws a hook to the side of West's head but West sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ovechkin swings for the body but West moves out of range.
Ovechkin looks to land a left hand but West moved out of range nicely.
West defending well as Ovechkin loads up on a big left hand.
Ovechkin moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Kanye West has been cut.
West slips under a jab.
Ovechkin looks to land a combination but West avoids it well.
West misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ovechkin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and West counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
West lands a right hook to the body.
Ovechkin lands a nice hook to West's body. West takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
West lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ovechkin throws a left and a right that both miss
and West counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ovechkin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and West counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

West shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ovechkin's guard.
Ovechkin looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
West keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ovechkin's head.

Ovechkin is rocked!
West is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Ovechkin is still in real trouble! Can West finish him?
West wants to control from the top but Ovechkin keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
West postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ovechkin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ovechkin seems to have recovered his senses.
West trying to control the position from guard on top but Ovechkin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ovechkin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. West is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ovechkin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take West's back instead.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

West looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
West is trapped and Ovechkin is scoring with shots to the head and body.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

West defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Ovechkin throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
West rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ovechkin is looking to advance position but West won't allow it.
West has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
West is trying to maintain the position but Ovechkin is very close to passing his half guard.

West looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ovechkin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
West moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ovechkin tries to free his leg and advance position but West is retaining full guard.
West is trying to control the position from the bottom.
West is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ovechkin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
West scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ovechkin doesn't seem bothered though.

West closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ovechkin wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Ovechkin is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but West is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Ovechkin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from West.

West has hold of Ovechkin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ovechkin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ovechkin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with West. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ovechkin is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ovechkin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
West raining down shots from the mount!
West tries to control but Ovechkin wriggling away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ovechkin can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

West steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ovechkin.
West slips under a jab from Ovechkin.
A shot to the body from Ovechkin misses
and West counters with a nice uppercut.
West scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
West catches Ovechkin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ovechkin fails with the takedown
and West counters with a left right combination that sends Ovechkin crashing to the mat - West wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Ovechkin out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
