Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Here Comes the Boom. Colon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: TRAUMATIZED-Meek Mill. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

letting Colon counter with a right hand.

Colon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Brandao is trying to defend but Colon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Brandao is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Colon pulls his head out easily.

Colon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Colon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Brandao takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Colon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brandao is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Brandao takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Brandao is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big shot lands for Colon! That's hurt Brandao! Will he recover? Colon fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roberto Colon!
