Mishko Tolstiy struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Tolstiy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tolstiy manages to end up in side control.

McMichaels fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tolstiy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

McMichaels shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tolstiy eats them both and turns towards McMichaels to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
McMichaels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tolstiy was well out of range. Poor timing from McMichaels.

Tolstiy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McMichaels avoids it really well and circles away.

Doug McMichaels decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
