The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darker scores with a head kick.

It looks like Marvin Fon Gadov has been cut.
Fon Gadov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Darker dives in and scores a takedown into Fon Gadov's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Darker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Darker trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fon Gadov's guard.
Darker throws a big elbow that misses.
Darker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fon Gadov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up because Peter Darker just wasn't active enough.

Darker lands a left and a right that send Fon Gadov crashing to the mat, dazed. Darker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Marvin Fon Gadov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Darker moves into range and clinches up with Fon Gadov.
Fon Gadov is still on wobbly legs! Can Darker finish him?

Darker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Darker closes the distance looking for a takedown. Darker picks Fon Gadov up and slams him brutally to the floor. Fon Gadov is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
