The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhurmedov tries for a takedown but Martinsson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Martinsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Martinsson moves in looking to clinch but Zhurmedov pushes him off.

Martinsson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zhurmedov, pushing him back against the cage.

Zhurmedov dives in and grabs Martinsson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Martinsson pushes down on Zhurmedov's head and hops out.

Zhurmedov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martinsson's waist but Martinsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zhurmedov off to one side.

A very excited looking Eric Martinsson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
