Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jon Hawkins could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryan King's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan King!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawkins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. King sprawls well initially but Hawkins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

King wants to get back to his feet.
Hawkins is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Hawkins moves into full mount! King won't be happy about that!

Hawkins takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
King tries to reverse the position but Hawkins maintains control.

Hawkins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Hawkins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
King swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Hawkins lands a nice shot to the head.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Ryan King has been cut.
King is bucking up trying to escape but Hawkins cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That has opened up Ryan King's cut even more.

King is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hawkins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hawkins has hold of King's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and King manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hawkins cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ryan King's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ryan King's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A very excited looking Jon Hawkins rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
