Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tinker Evers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evers comes to the cage accompanied by Call Me from Shinedown. Pudzianowski has chosen Foxy Shazam - Killin' it as his entrance music. Tinker Evers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mariusz Pudzianowski's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Evers counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Evers lands a nice short elbow.
Evers is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pudzianowski is just riding it out for now. Evers eventually gives up the hold.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Evers drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pudzianowski looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pudzianowski looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pudzianowski!

Evers swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pudzianowski is now in Evers's guard. A big mistake from Evers there, giving up the dominant position!
Evers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pudzianowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mariusz Pudzianowski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Evers is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pudzianowski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Evers.
Pudzianowski wants to control but Evers is keeping busy.
Evers landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That has opened up Mariusz Pudzianowski's cut even more.

Evers gets to his feet and stands over Pudzianowski, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Pudzianowski felt that one! Evers unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Pudzianowski from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tinker Evers!
After winning the bout, Tinker Evers thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
