Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Don Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Fayol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Pierre comes to the cage accompanied by Racionais Mc's A Vida Desafio. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ken Fayol!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Don Pierre shoots and misses

and Fayol counters by moving into the clinch.
Don Pierre keeps control of Fayol as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fayol will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Don Pierre up against the cage.
Don Pierre is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fayol is defending well.

Fayol jumps into guard, dragging Don Pierre to the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fayol can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Don Pierre shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fayol defends it nicely.

Don Pierre has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fayol should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Don Pierre has tightened it up now! Fayol should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
