Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Easton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li's entrance music is The Mars Volta - . A fine choice. Jason Easton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Easton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Li moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Li slips under a jab.
Li really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Li tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Easton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Li tries to clinch there but Easton circles away.
Li ducks right into an uppercut from Easton.

Li moves into the clinch successfully.

Li's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A big right from Li misses.
Li moves in looking to clinch but Easton pushes him off.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Easton paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A frustrated look appears on Easton's face as he tries to break the clinch.

and Easton counters with a three punch combo that has Li backing up. Li nods at Easton to acknowledge the strikes.
A slapping leg kick lands for Li.
Li tries to clinch there but Easton circles away.
Li takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Li throws a jab but it's blocked by Easton.
Easton takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Easton circles away from the clinch attempt.

Easton gets tackled into the cage by Li. Li maintains the clinch.

Li's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Easton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Li's head backwards.
Hong Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Easton scores with a shot to the body.
Easton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Li. Li circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Easton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch up but Easton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Easton looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Easton jabs Li to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Easton pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Li throws a nice looking combination but Easton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Li moves into the clinch.
Easton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Li has him pressed against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Easton wants to break free but Li has control.
Easton wants to get back to striking at distance but Li won't allow it.

Li prevents Easton from breaking the clinch.
Easton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Li pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Easton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Li.

Li moves into the clinch successfully.
Easton tries to circle away but Li has him pinned against the cage.
Easton has had enough of the clinch but Li keeps him there for the moment.

Nice straight punches there by Easton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Easton.

Li attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Li misses with a kick to the body.
Li throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Easton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Li lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Easton circles away quickly and effectively.

Li clinches up with Easton and pushes him back against the cage.

Easton misses with a straight left.

Easton waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Li.
Li lands a head kick. Easton smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Li lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Li rushes Easton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Easton has had enough of the clinch but Li keeps him there for the moment.

Easton misses with a series of wild punches.

Li throws a front kick that sends Easton stumbling back into the cage.
Easton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Li tries a head kick but it misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
