The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sobral.
Patrick throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sobral sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Patrick lands with a hook. Sobral tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Renato Sobral has been cut.
Donk. Patrick catches Sobral right on the button with a cross.
A head kick misses from Sobral.
Patrick clobbers Sobral with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Patrick lands a body shot.

Patrick lands a big uppercut and Sobral crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sobral looks OK. Patrick waves Sobral back to his feet!

That has opened up Renato Sobral's cut even more.

Patrick darts in and clinches Sobral up against the ropes.
Sobral is still on wobbly legs! Can Patrick finish him?
Sobral tries to circle away but Patrick has him pinned against the ropes.
Sobral seems to have recovered his senses.

Patrick breaks from the clinch.

Patrick sends Sobral crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Patrick is motioning to the referee to let Sobral up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Sobral is holding his hands too far apart here. Patrick throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Sobral is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
