Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daz Baldwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas O Malley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baldwin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Baldwin wants to clinch up but O Malley keeps it at a distance.

Baldwin has O Malley up against the cage in a clinch.
Baldwin has had enough of the clinch but O Malley keeps him there for the moment.
O Malley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Baldwin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

O Malley jumps into guard, dragging Baldwin to the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Malley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
O Malley pulls Baldwin in to control the position.
Baldwin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - O Malley has eaten all the pies!
Baldwin forces his way into half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
O Malley is positioning himself well to prevent Baldwin advancing to mount.
O Malley makes his way to full guard. A much better position for O Malley.
O Malley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Baldwin is one step ahead there.

O Malley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baldwin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baldwin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

O Malley has control of Baldwin's left arm, preventing Baldwin from doing any damage.

O Malley is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Baldwin frees his head nicely. Oh but O Malley has switched to an armbar! Baldwin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
