PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Offerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bobberson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Offerson comes to the cage accompanied by Can't F with da South. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Offerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Bobberson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Offerson tries to clinch but Bobberson moves out of range.
Offerson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bobberson lands with an uppercut that bounces Offerson off the cage and back into range.

Bobberson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Billy Bobberson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Offerson gets caught flat footed, as Bobberson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bobberson wants to pass the guard but Offerson is keeping the position.

Bobberson is looking to work some ground and pound but Offerson has wrist control.

Bobberson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Offerson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bobberson, into his guard.

Bobberson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Offerson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Offerson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Offerson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bobberson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Offerson's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bobberson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Offerson!

Offerson tries to hold on but Bobberson pushes him away.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bobberson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Offerson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bobberson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Offerson's head.

Bobberson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Offerson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bobberson.
Billy Bobberson has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bobberson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Offerson defend it? Bobberson steps over the head and cranks it - Offerson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bobberson!
