Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Swayze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Firnanda Talha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brett Swayze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Firnanda Talha!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swayze fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Talha manages to avoid it.
Swayze tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Talha fails to land the takedown.
Talha shoots in but Swayze avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Talha doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Swayze makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Brett Swayze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Firnanda Talha.
Swayze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Talha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Talha closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Swayze did well to prevent Talha getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Swayze slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Talha is looking to pass into half guard but Swayze pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Swayze is in guard.

Talha looking for a guillotine here but Swayze defends easily.

Talha is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Swayze not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Swayze trying to control but Talha is working from the bottom.
Talha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Swayze controls the pace.
Swayze is looking to stand up but Talha won't let him.
Talha looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Swayze got a little sloppy there for a moment and Talha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Swayze has managed to get both his arms back between Talha's legs - danger averted.

Talha is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Swayze defends well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Swayze is stalling in the full guard.

Talha is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Swayze has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Talha to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Swayze is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Talha pulls down on the head and he's put Swayze to sleep! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Firnanda Talha started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
